Bounty Hunter:
The bounty hunter takes advantage of the in-game bounty system, earning credits and combat rank for destroying wanted ships.
Have 2 ways to find out if a target is Wanted, first the basic ship scanner (target a ship and face it, work in supercruise) and the second way is using a Kill Warrant Scanner (for bounties gained from other jurisdictions, targets who already have a bounty it might increase)

The best place to find wanted NPC's are at Nav Beacon, they are always near the sun (star) but not all system have one, just go into a Nav Beacon, and soon u will find wanted ships. Sometimes if u too far away from the Nav Beacon u will not be able to see it at left window > Navigation, so just get into supercruse and face the sun, once you get near enough u should be able to see the Nav Beacon (if the system have one)

Make sure to get close to the main star (1) in the system, then you will be able to see the Nav Beacon (2) if the system have one, also if you jump into a system you will always arrive at the main start.

If a system is anarchy/unknow, the basic scanner will always say that the target is clean (wanted targets are wanted for a faction, like federation, but only show if inside a system roled by that faction), at those systens, anyone can atk you without penalty (the opposite is valid), in order to find if the target have hidden bounty u have to use the Kill Warrant Scanner (if you kill a target before you scan him, you will NOT gain any bounty, even if he was wanted by a faction)
To find out if the target have a bounty using the KWS you have to access the left menu > contacts (1) and the target you want (2)

Claims can be redeemed in the Local Security Offices section of the Contacts menu at any station in a system where the target was wanted.

A great way to find Unidentified Signal Source or just USS,is to get into supercruise, slow down ur speed to 30.000km/s and spin around, in no time a USS will pop up in ur face right into range to drop the supercruise.
Inside USS you can find many things, from stolen goods, traders and Wanted ships as well.

Ship escalation for BH:

Sidewinder > Eagle > Viper > Python > Anaconda

The Cobra Mk. III have same firepower as viper, but less maneuverability, the Cobra is only advisable for bounty hunters if they plan on taking up piracy/smuggling in the near future.

Asp Explorer as the name say is intended for exploring, as a trading vessel, it is not a big upgrade from the Lakon Type 6, considering the 5 million credits price difference, either for combat, since the extra gunpower is small if compare with Viper.

Federal Dropship have 3 big downsides, 1th the poor maneuverability make quiet hard for the pilot to hunt small ships, 2th it requires Federation rank of Ensign or higher (but if ally to the station you only need Petty Officer rank) and 3th the big gap between the guns make hit anything very hard. This ship is a heavy hull tanker, for planetary surface hotdrop (still upcoming in the next expansion).

Imperial Clipper have similars downsides just like Federal Dropship, but the guns gap are even bigger, have less firepower and hull, the only major difference that this ship have is the amazing look, yes, you pay few more millions for a good looking ship, but beside that, viper do better in combat, Type 6 in trade.

Trade:
Trading is the act of buying commodities at a low price and selling them for a higher price, in the beginning is not the best way, that would be BH, but if you got some extra credits you can give a try.
First of all you need cargo rack, its a mod that allow your ship to load commodities inside, the more the better, for a example lets take the SW (Sidewinder Mk. I), it can hold max of 10 tons (without shield, not recommended), then you access the Trade Tool http://elitetradingtool.co.uk/ go into "Find Trades" > use your location (2) > set bidirectional (3) and search (4)

Then you will find several results like this:

Make sure to find one similar to this, usualy the max distance should be around 20Ly (1) and the profit 1900^ (2) and the update time (3) should not exceed 24h (prices drop fast, a trade route that worth today may not worth tomorow)
You should always take into account 3 factors, the distance between the systens, the profit and the distance to each station (its near the station name, in this case the Reisman Settlement station is 685ls from the drop point (usualy below 1000ls work fine)
Now all you have to do is travel to one of the 2 systens, dock into the correct station, buy the commoditie, travel to the next station, sell it, buy the other type of commoditie and keep doing it till u have credits for a better ship.
Be aware that a full loaded ship make the jump range drop dramatically, and you may be unable to jump to the next system, if that happen you can buy a better FSD (Frame Shift Drive) and a better Thruster (less efficient)

If you have a Lakon type 6 without good FSD a great option is to go to LTT 377 (Zoline port)System: Tenche > Station: Lunney Station, then buy performance enhancers, undock and go into SC (supercruise) and lock the first luxury trader in Navegation u find, go there, get near one of the Lakon type 9 (like 200m) and it will sell, do it again and again.

Then, once you get a FSD A type you can go to the big trade route

LTT 1349 (Lundwall City) 136ls Progenitor Cells < 25.95Ly > LHS 142 (Noriega Port) 10ls Beryllium - Profit 2735 per Ton

Use the trade tool webiste, both trades routes above are dead

Be aware, in open play this trade route have many Players pirates so solo is a better option

Ship escalation for trade:
Sidewinder > Adder > Cobra > Lakon Type 6 > Lakon Type-7 > Lakon Type-9
